Document, don’t create.

— Gary Vee

This is my attempt to document my professional journey. This is me taking Gary Vee’s advice.

I like this idea. I don’t like this idea.

Let me start with why I don’t like it.

I don’t like documenting because it’s messy. It’s not fancy. It’s not beautiful. It’s the plain old me struggling through the journey of becoming an experienced developer. Trying to constantly learn and stay on top of my game.

It’s trial and error.

On the other hand I love this idea. Why wait? Just start doing. I’m learning to execute fast and quick. But more on this later.

As the saying goes “sharing is caring”. It doesn’t necessarily have to be beautiful, it doesn’t have to be perfect but it should be helpful. This is my aim with this blog.

Helpful for anyone reading. May it be you or future me.

I also want to encourage you to start documenting your journey. When you step in the shoes of trying to explain a concept, an idea, a process, a technology, a library, you actually use different skills. Skills that in today’s day and age are super helpful and actually necessary for fruitful, blooming cooperation.

So start now. Document, don’t create.
